Senator Ned Nwoko (APC-Delta) has expressed his sincere thanks to the APC stakeholders and the people of Delta North Senatorial District for their support of President Bola Tinubu for a second term in 2027.
In a statement shared with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Friday, Nwoko also commended his constituents for backing both him and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that on June 14, party leaders and stakeholders met at Nwoko’s home in Mount Ned, Idumuje-Ugboko, Delta, where the three political figures received unanimous support.
In response, the senator described the ‘symbolic’ vote of confidence as an unexpected gesture that has sparked significant excitement and goodwill from nearly all sectors, especially the general public.
He pointed out that this endorsement reflects their shared acknowledgment of the Tinubu-led administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E. Agenda, and his own legislative efforts.
“It is important to note that the stakeholders, representing the nine local government areas of Delta North, have collectively recognized the social advantages of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E Agenda, and my legislative work in the lives of the people.
“With great humility and a sense of responsibility, I truly appreciate the wave of endorsements from both the party and the everyday citizens.
“Let me confirm that President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori have my full support at every opportunity,” he stated.
The lawmaker urged his constituents, the citizens of the state, and Nigerians in general to keep showing their strong loyalty and patriotism as they strive for a noble vision for a better Nigeria and a progressive Delta.
He noted that the Delta North APC senatorial meeting has greatly enhanced the bonds of brotherhood and progressive politics.
It is with great honor and joy that I express my heartfelt appreciation to the esteemed members of the APC in the Delta North Senatorial District for the outstanding success of the party meeting held on June 14 at the beautiful Mount Ned Resort in Idumuje Ugboko.
The attendance at the meeting, which included thousands of APC stakeholders like party leaders, women, youths, and different groups, has made me feel incredibly grateful and happily overwhelmed.
First and foremost, I would like to commend the progressive leadership of the APC in the Delta North Senatorial District for organizing this event, which is rotated periodically among the three federal constituencies that comprise the senatorial district.
We can all remember that the last party meeting before this Idumuje-Ugboko event was held in the Agbor and Ndokwa/Ukwuani regions.
“Considering that this development started before I joined the party in February, and having participated in its last two editions, I was excited to host the meeting for one reason: it deepens the bonds that bind us in brotherhood and progressive politics.
I am not only happy to have provided my country home as the venue for this recent meeting, but I also take pride in the fact that it became a center for celebration and the strengthening of our great party’s goals and achievements,” he stated.
Nwoko further commended the APC national leadership, under the direction of Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, for its steadfast commitment to the party’s progress, noting that this dedication has been clear in the successful results of the senatorial meeting.

Nwoko, who is the Senate Committee Chairman on Reparations and Repatriation, took this chance to talk about the worries some APC chairmen in his senatorial district have.
“As a loyal party member, I feel inspired by the clear position of the Delta North Senatorial zone APC chairman.
“Even though most people will definitely show their influence, the smaller group still has the right to share their thoughts. This is a fact of life, including in politics.
“The rise in party support and agreement, which was clear during the meeting on June 14, is still fresh in our minds.
“A few voices of disagreement, whether they are backed or not, can never cover up the strong message of truth, reason, and order.
“The mild drama, no matter how minor it may seem, becomes a minor issue when you consider that the few individuals who opposed participated fully in the meeting without raising any complaints.
“As their committed senator, democrat, and brother, I sincerely ask them to come together with me and other important people in our renewed effort to build a stronger, more peaceful, and united APC at the senatorial, state, and national levels, under the respected leadership of President Bola Tinubu,” he said.
The senator stated that during his second year in office as a senator, he felt more empowered than ever to confront the future with unwavering commitment, dedicated to serving his people.
