Adamawa APC condemns thuggery act against National Vice Chairman North-East

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamawa Chapter, has firmly condemned the act of thuggery aimed at the National Vice Chairman for the North-East, Salihu Mustapha, by disruptive individuals during the party’s North-East consultative forum meeting that took place in Gombe.

Alhaji Idris Shuaibu, the State Chairman of the party, expressed this condemnation at a press conference held in Yola on Thursday.

He disclosed that the thugs were secretly introduced as delegates at the meeting venue on June 15 by certain factions within the party.

“We strongly denounce the act of thuggery inflicted upon our respected National Vice Chairman, Mustapha, by these thugs who were deceitfully presented as delegates at the APC North-East consultative forum meeting.

“We have accepted the communiqué issued by the National Vice Chairman, which accurately represents the consensus of the APC Governors Forum, National Assembly Members, National Working Committee, and the APC Adamawa chapter.

“We hereby support President Bola Tinubu as the sole candidate of our party for the upcoming nomination in 2027.

we wish to make it clear that the actions taken by the thugs at the venue have no connection to the meeting’s proceedings. “We strongly encourage all party members to ignore these actions and stick to the resolutions established during the meeting,” he remarked. Shuaibu also urged party members to maintain unity and dedication to the party’s advancement, both at the state level and nationwide.
