Paga Group, one of Africa’s payments and financial services companies, has launched Doroki, an innovative retail business management platform designed to help large, small, and medium-sized businesses improve their operations, reduce inefficiencies, and foster growth.

Doroki’s merchant clients and industry professionals gathered in Lagos for the inaugural event, which included what the company described as a new solution for retail business management in Africa.

Arike Okunowo, the General Manager of Doroki, shared that the platform integrates order management, inventory tracking, payments, and customer engagement into a cohesive, user-friendly interface.
“Whether you’re operating a restaurant, a retail shop, or a distribution network, businesses can now liberate themselves from the burden of juggling multiple applications and concentrate on what truly matters: growth,” he mentioned in a press release.
The Founder and CEO of Paga Group, Tayo Oviosu stated that Doroki was created to tackle the challenges many SMEs encounter in managing their everyday operations.

“Navigating a business in today’s fast-paced economy is tough; managing inventory, tracking sales, reconciling payments, and ensuring customer satisfaction can be quite daunting,” Oviosu noted. “Doroki transforms that experience. It’s not merely a tool; it’s a partner that streamlines operations, offers actionable insights, and empowers businesses to grow with assurance.”
“Whether it’s a restaurant owner grappling with recipe and table management or a retailer facing stock-outs and product shelf life challenges, Doroki delivers clarity, control, and confidence,” she added. “We are thrilled to see how Nigerian businesses utilize this platform to reach their full potential.

The Doroki platform offers a suite of features that are designed to enhance and simplify business operations. This includes intelligent order management, real-time inventory oversight, menu and recipe management tailored for food enterprises, adaptable payment solutions, customer loyalty programs, CRM tools, multi-user accessibility, and analytics to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

According to the company, the platform accommodates cash, card, and mobile payments through Paga, allowing businesses to monitor stock levels, establish low-stock notifications, and manage suppliers in real time. Also, it supports offline transactions, ensuring business continuity in regions with unstable internet connection.
