Ruben Amorim said that Manchester United needs to work better as a team after they couldn’t win again, ending up with a 1-1 draw against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday, despite having a lead.

Amorim told his players how vital it is for them to refocus after his side didn’t achieve a positive result
“I think we scored the goal and then forgot how to play our game,” Amorim said. “We have a lot to learn as a team.
“The key moment in the game was when we scored. Our objective was to secure victory in the match. we wanted to get all three points.
“For me, that is the time we really need to enjoy and put pressure on the other team,” he explained. “We aimed to press the opponent really high, but we ended up leaving a lot of space.
“You have to win to feel a bit relaxed, not in how intense we play, but by keeping our minds focused.
“We struggled a bit and lost momentum after Fulham scored. In the first half, we were doing well — we even missed a penalty. Fernandes carries a lot of responsibility, and I could see that he was unhappy. He was thinking about the past. Now, we need to look ahead, no matter what happens.”
Amorim, on the flip side, mentioned that he’s not too concerned about his £200 million summer signings not scoring any goals yet this season.
Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, and Benjamin Sesko are still hunting for their first goals for the club after their big transfers.
“I think the vibe is there,” Amorim said. “We will find the back of the net because we’re creating plenty of chances.
“Sesko needs some time. It’s tough to come off the bench and get into the rhythm of the game.
He needs to familiarize himself with the EPL, and he is aware that the Bundesliga is quicker. He wasn’t present on the field when we were at our best, and we ought to provide him with more support occasionally.
He has to catch up in the EPL, and he understands that the Bundesliga moves at a faster pace. He missed being on the pitch during our strongest moments, and we should assist him more often.
