Aina commits future to Nottingham Forest

Super Eagles’ industrious defender Ola Aina has expressed his aspirations over his future, indicating a desire to remain at Nottingham Forest for an extended period.
It comes as head coach Nuno Espirito Santo stated he is “confident” the defender will put pen to paper on a new contract.
Ola Aina expressed his desire to remain at the City Ground for an extended period of time by stating, “I hope so, I thoroughly enjoy my time here.” I enjoy the staff, the players, the club, the community. Everything about it is a good place so hopefully I will remain at the club for a long time.

Both centre-back Murillo and striker Chris Wood have signed new contracts with the Reds since the year began. They’re hoping that Aina will follow suit.

The full-back’s contract, which was set to end in the summer will be automatically extended by a year. However, negotiations have occurred over a further extension for the Nigeria international.

From the summer of 2023, when He joined Forest on a free transfer, Aina has been a vital member of the team. This season, he has taken over the right-back position after previously playing on the left.
