Ancelotti Addresses The Reasons Behind Mbappe’s Presently Uncertain Situation at Real Madrid

Table of Content

After missing a penalty in the 2-0 loss to Liverpool, Kylian Mbappe is lacking confidence, according to Carlo Ancelotti, who also stated that Real Madrid would help him through his “difficult moment.”
Mbappe’s problems since joining Real Madrid in the summer persisted as Conor Bradley sent him off the pitch before Caoimhin Kelleher saved his penalty kick.
Ancelotti remarked, “This has happened numerous times in my career. As a striker, you want to score and gain some confidence.”

He is going through a tough time, and I believe Mbappe is going through a tough time. We need to be there for him and show him our love, and he will get better right away.

“It might be a lack of confidence, and sometimes when things aren’t going your way, it’s best to keep things simple and avoid making life too complicated.”

“You don’t have to hold him responsible for missing penalties; it happens frequently.”

Mbappe left Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent at the end of the previous season, and in his 18 games with Madrid, he has scored nine goals. However, his new team has only scored one goal in the Champions League and has dropped three of its five games in the redesigned competition.

It’s not going well for him. We must have patience. Ancelotti remarked, “He is an incredible team player.”

In the new 36-team league phase of the competition, Madrid is ranked 24th. Nineteen to twenty-fourth-place teams enter a playoff round, while the top eight teams move on to the round of sixteen.

In the game, Mohamed Salah missed a penalty kick of his own, so Mbappe wasn’t the only player who didn’t score. However, Liverpool’s lead was increased by replacement Cody Gakpo.

By defeating Real in the Champions League, Arne Slot, the new head coach of Liverpool, accomplished something that his predecessor, Jurgen Klopp, was never able achieve. In his six games versus Madrid, including two losses in the final, Klopp lost five and drew once.
Liverpool is currently leading the Champions League standings after five games, maintaining their undefeated record this season.
In the first round, each team plays eight games. Next month, Liverpool will play Girona, and Madrid will play Atalanta.
