British-Nigerian Student Stabbed To Death Weeks Before Graduation

Table of Content

In a very sad event, Tamilore Odunsi, a British-Nigerian nursing student and popular TikTok influencer, has been tragically killed in her Houston apartment, just two weeks before she was set to graduate with her nursing degree.

The 23-year-old, who was known as ‘Tami Dollars’ online, was found dead on her kitchen floor with many stab wounds after the police had to enter her home for a welfare check.

Reports say that the police were called after someone saw blood on the patio of her apartment when they entered the apartment, they found a terrible scene and also discovered a man, who is said to be someone Tami had recently met, with stab wounds in another room. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Tami moved from London to the United States in 2022 to follow her dream of becoming a nurse. She was really looking forward to her graduation and even posted a happy video on TikTok just three days before her death, with the caption: ‘I’m ready, BSN grad in 2 weeks. Summer is 14 days away.’

Her horrific murder has left her family, friends, and over 30,000 TikTok followers in deep sorrow. A GoFundMe initiative aimed at bringing her body back to the UK and covering funeral costs has already raised over £29,000.

“Tami was a beautiful soul—full of light, ambition, and kindness. She was tragically murdered just days before she was set to graduate. An unimaginable loss,” her sister Georgina wrote on the fundraising page.

Her brother Manny also paid tribute, saying: “Our TikTok star. My creative director. My baby sister. Flying to America without her greeting us at the airport is a pain beyond words.”

Police have not yet released further details about the man found in the apartment or the motive behind the attack.
