This tragic and sudden loss has left us shattered and grieving. Fr. Sylvester was a devoted servant of God who tirelessly worked in the Lord’s vineyard, sharing the messages of peace, love, and hope. He was always present and available for his parishioners.
His unexpected passing has created a profound emptiness in our diocesan family, and we mourn alongside his family, friends, and all who cherished him. Let us unite as one family in prayer for the peace of his soul. We encourage all priests, religious, and the faithful to hold Holy Masses, Rosaries, and prayers for the eternal rest of Fr. Sylvester, who dedicated his life to serving God and humanity. We urge our youth and members of the Takad community to remain calm and committed to prayer, emphasizing that no one should take matters into their own hands. Details regarding the funeral arrangements will be shared in due time.
