Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma, who serves as the spiritual director of the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry in Uke, Anambra State, has urged Governor Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo to tackle the pressing issues of insecurity in the state or consider stepping down from his position. In a New Year 2025 message delivered at his Uke adoration centre, he voiced serious concerns regarding the rampant violence and kidnappings plaguing the community.

Fr. Obimma stressed the urgency of the situation, stating, “Insecurity in Anambra State is a significant problem. The governor needs to take bold action as the chief security officer of the state.” He pointed out that, given the ongoing violence, the governor should utilize the budget allocations designated for security to effectively address the crisis.
