Former Super Eagles player, Sunday Stephen, has given 15kg bags of rice to widows at the Mountain of Fire Ministry in Ojodu Berger, Lagos. This generous act is part of his foundation’s end-of-year outreach program, aimed at helping those in need during the holiday season.

The Sunday Stephen Miram Orphanage organized this donation to ensure that widows in the community could celebrate the festive season with dignity and joy. Sunday Stephen shared that his foundation’s mission is to support orphans, widows, and vulnerable children by providing them with education, healthcare, guidance, and spiritual growth.

At the event, he said, “Our goal is to bring hope, dignity, and opportunities for a brighter future.” He emphasized that this donation is just one of many ways they are reaching out to families in need, ensuring that widows in the area can enjoy the holiday season.

“Our aim at the orphanage is to provide a safe and loving environment for orphans, widows, and vulnerable children. We help them grow in many ways—emotionally, physically, and intellectually. We want to empower each child so they can become independent and contribute positively to society,” he explained.

His wife, Miram Stephen, also took a moment to thank the Mountain of Fire Ministry for their ongoing support of the orphanage. She noted, “It’s important to recognize the church for their kindness and dedication to helping widows. Their support has been crucial in our mission to assist those in need.”
