On Friday, the Governor of Kebbi State, Nasir Idris, formally enacted the 2025 allocation bill, which amounts to N580,427,469,023. This significant legislative development follows the earlier approval of the bill by the members of the State House of Assembly during a special session convened at the Assembly Complex in Birnin Kebbi.

During a brief but important ceremony held at the Government House, Honorable Samaila Muhammed Bagudo, the Acting Speaker of the House, presented the bill to Governor Idris for his assent. He noted that the legislative body had prioritized the scrutiny of the bill, dedicating an intensive seven-day review period before it was passed into law. Bagudo expressed gratitude to the executive arm of the government for submitting the bill promptly, which facilitated its timely examination and approval.
