The police in Osun State are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman named Bidemi Omole. She passed away at her boyfriend Yinka’s house in a town called Esa-Oke.

Reports say that she was heading to a vigil on Friday when she decided to stop by her boyfriend’s place, where she got sick and died while being taken to the hospital.

Details show that the victim left her home at night but went to visit her boyfriend Yinka on Oke-Esa Street. Sadly, less than thirty minutes later, news of her death started to spread.

People in the community were very upset when they heard about her death and gathered at the house to ask for answers about what happened. “She goes to vigil every Friday and left her house around 9 PM that night, only for us to find out she died after visiting Yinka, her boyfriend.

“There was a lot of anger when the news broke, and residents wanted answers, but when the police arrived, they helped calm things down, which led to Yinka being taken into custody,” she explained.

Osun Police spokesperson DSP Abiodun Ojelabi confirmed the incident, saying that Yinka is now in police custody and is helping with the investigation. He stated that the authorities had been notified that the woman fell ill shortly after reaching Yinka’s residence, with foam coming from her mouth before she was rushed to the hospital.

Unfortunately, the lady lost her life while on her way to the hospital, leaving the community heartbroken. If the security team hadn’t responded quickly, the situation could have been even more serious.

“The woman’s body has been taken to the hospital, where doctors will examine it to determine the cause of her death,” Ojelabi explained.

He also assured the community that the police would carry out a thorough investigation to seek justice for everyone involved.
