Mr. Solomon Akwashiki, the representative for Lafia Central Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has praised Governor Abdullahi Sule for his significant contributions to infrastructure and overall progress in the state. Akwashiki, who is also the Chairman of the House Committee on Public Accounts and a member of the SDP, shared his thoughts on Thursday in Lafia while welcoming his classmates from the 2021 Department of Estate Management at the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa.
He highlighted that Sule’s achievements are evident in various sectors, including the construction of flyovers in Lafia and Akwanga, as well as the development of roads and the State Secretariat Complex. Akwashiki pointed out that the governor’s initiatives also focus on enhancing the welfare of civil servants and implementing empowerment programs for youth and women. He encouraged everyone to keep supporting and praying for Sule’s continued success.
Also, Akwashiki acknowledged the Speaker of the 7th Assembly, Mr. Danladi Jatau, for his efforts in maintaining positive relationships with other branches of government. He commended Jatau’s inclusive leadership style, which has been instrumental in driving significant development throughout the state. Expressing gratitude to his classmates for their support, Akwashiki assured them of his dedication to representing both his department and the state in a positive light.
He reaffirmed his commitment to advocating for the concerns of his constituents and safeguarding their rights and interests. Earlier, team leader Mr. Alpha Mma congratulated Akwashiki on his recent appointment as Minority Whip of the House and commended his initiatives to enhance power supply in the state. Mma expressed pride in Akwashiki’s contributions to the Assembly and the state’s development. The visit concluded with an award presentation, honoring Akwashiki for his exemplary leadership and advocacy for those without a voice.
