Family and friends have been thrown into mourning after the death of a young woman, Kuyikabasi Patrick, just two days before her much-anticipated birthday party.

Kuyikabasi, renowned for her dynamic personality and creative business concepts, was eagerly looking forward to her special day on Thursday, July 24, 2025. In her excitement for her forthcoming birthday, she had joyfully shared invitations to her friends through WhatsApp and Facebook, expressing her excitement and encouraging them to attend the celebration.

Sadly, her life was cut short when she was involved in a tragic car accident, leaving her family and friends devastated and in disbelief. The unexpected loss of such a gifted individual has left a huge void in the hearts of those who knew her, as they struggle to come to terms with her absence just as they were preparing to celebrate.

On Thursday, one of her friends, Ceedar Inee, posted some heartfelt photos, saying, “Happy birthday in heaven, my dear sister and friend. May the light guide you home. You’ve shattered my heart and brought me endless tears. It is well. I pray you find eternal peace. Amen. The moments we shared will always be cherished. When you visited me on Sunday, I had no clue it would be our final meeting; maybe that hug should have lasted a bit longer. You would sweetly call me your sister and reassure me, ‘Omo, we will achieve great things in life.’ So, did everything we discussed on Sunday just come to an abrupt stop??? I miss you so much! If only this were a dream, I would have woken up ages ago… Oh, how unpredictable life is; you’ve really made me see this. I now listen to all your voice messages on my phone, and they bring me to tears. My biggest wish is for you to rest in peace. Amen,” she expressed.
