The Super Eagles of Nigeria ended their international friendly match against the Polish national team in Warsaw, Poland, with a score of 2-2 on Wednesday.

Nigeria was the first to score when Terem Mofi, a striker from FC Porto, found the net with a great assist from Moses Simon in the 23rd minute. The Super Eagles started strong, but they had a hard time defending a corner kick, which allowed Nicola Zalewski to score for Poland just before halftime, leveling the score.

In the second half, Coach Eric Chelle made a lot of changes, bringing in seven new players like Calvin Bassey, Zaidu Sanusi, and Paul Onuachu. Even though these changes didn’t really affect how much they controlled the ball, Nigeria took the lead again in the 77th minute when Onuachu scored a penalty after a Polish player handled the ball in the box.

The Super Eagles thought they were going to win, but Przemyslaw Wisniewski equalized for Poland with a strong shot from 25 yards out deep into stoppage time.

The match was held at the Stadion PGE Narodowy, which can fit 58,000 fans, and around 54,000 people were there to watch.

Now, the Super Eagles will now focus on their next friendly match against a tougher team, Portugal, which will take place in Leiria, Portugal, on Wednesday, June 10.
