Football star Sunday Oliseh is mourning the loss of his beloved brother, Uche Levi Oliseh. In a heartfelt message on his X account on July 20th, Oliseh revealed that Uche passed away on Thursday, July 17, after a short but intense fight with malaria.
In his emotional tribute, Oliseh shared his deep sorrow, saying, “Sadly, I lost my brother, Uche Levi Oliseh, on Thursday after a quick battle with malaria fever. The sadness is huge, something I’ve never felt before. I had so many talks, laughs, and moments I wanted to enjoy with Uche, but now, unfortunately, I can’t do any of that. Man, death is such a cruel thief.”
Uche was more than just a brother; he was also a friend and a trusted companion to Oliseh, and the emptiness left by his loss is deeply felt. May Uche’s soul rest in peace, Amen.
