The United States of America tech billionaire Elon Musk has revealed that his critics want him killed because he’s stopping fraud.

He disclosed this in an interview with Fox News, which he reposted on his X account.

His comments came after anti-Elon Musk and President Donald Trump protests rocked the streets of the US on April 5, 2025.

Reacting, Musk said he and his business, Tesla, are targets because he is stopping what he described as “terrible waste and corruption in government”.

“They basically want to kill me because I’m stopping their fraud. And they want to hurt Tesla because we’re stopping this terrible waste and corruption in the government,” he said. “I guess they’re bad people, and bad people will do bad things.”
Musk, who is an advisor to President Trump and leader at the Department of Government Efficiency, has carried out several probes in federal agencies and departments, including Defence, the Treasury Department, Education, Health, and USAID, to cut down the cost of governance.
