The Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, has announced a ₦10 billion contribution to the Delta State Security Trust Fund to boost government’s commitment to strengthening peace and security,
The donation was announced during the official launch of the Delta State Security Trust Fund at the Government House in Asaba, attended by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, top government officials, security chiefs, and community leaders in attendance.
Tompolo’s gesture reinforced his role as a key advocate for peace, stability and development in the Niger Delta.
Recall that the Delta State Security Trust Fund (DSSTF) was established by law on December 15, 2013, as a public-private partnership to source funds, equip, and train security agencies operating in Delta State.
It serves to provide financial, material, and equipment support to security agencies to enhance their effectiveness in ensuring security in the state.
The trust fund accepts donations in cash, materials, and equipment from individuals, businesses, and organizations, and it does not recruit personnel into security agencies.
This donation underscores strong public and private support for the fund.
The trust fund operates transparently with all donations accounted for and audited by qualified external auditors.
It also features an interactive website for suggestions and crime reporting.
