The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has said Chief Government Ekpemupolo, widely known as Tompolo, has questions to answer concerning a viral video clip which showed him allegedly engaging in naira abuse.
According to reports from DAILY POST, on Sunday, Nigerians urged the Commission to take similar action against Tompolo as it has done with other offenders.
This public demand was triggered by a video posted on X by a user named Harrison A, also known as #harreceipts, which included the caption, ‘EFCC, take a look at Tompolo and the Naira.’ The video, recorded during Tompolo’s 54th birthday celebration in April, depicts him dancing while a man lavishly showers him with N1,000 notes.
