UCL: Guardiola is optimistic despite Man City’s poor performance.

Table of Content

Guardiola is confident that despite Manchester City’s worrying run of five straight losses, they can still accomplish “very good things” this season.
In the Champions League, City takes on Feyenoord of the Netherlands tonight in an attempt to win a game for the first time since late October, but Guardiola is still optimistic.
At his pre-game press conference, he stated, “I feel like we’re going to do really well this season.” I do not give up, and I believe that we will succeed.

“You are protecting a legacy, a custom, and a triumph that is extremely challenging to manage,” he continued.
That’s the reason I unwind. We refuse to do it if we don’t. The goal is to win the upcoming games by trying to concentrate in the limited amount of time.

Next weekend’s trip to Anfield will put City eight points behind leaders Liverpool in the Premier League title battle.
They are out of the League Cup and have two wins, a draw, and a loss in their first four games, placing them tenth in the Champions League rankings.
Although his tactics have won the team four consecutive Premier League titles and the 2023 Champions League, Guardiola stated he had no plans to alter them.

In several categories, I would like the players to be more focused. “What are we supposed to do?” he asked.

And we return, step by step. This, too, will pass. That is how life is. If you believe it to be flawless, you are mistaken. Tomorrow, there will be rain. That’s life, then.

He went on to say: “At the moment, winning a game out of desire is more essential than strategy.

“These guys will do incredibly well things, but you look at December and the end of the season and wonder if you need to make any changes or be more solid.”
Guardiola has been coping with a long list of injuries, one of which is midfield midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, who had a niggle in mid-September and missed several weeks of action.
It has been frustrating to see the team struggle, according to the Belgian, who has made three substitute appearances since returning to action earlier this month.

He remarked, “You can only do so much from the side, but I can help the team.” “It’s frustrating because I know I could have helped the team if I was feeling well, but I was unable to do that.”
The team was committed to returning to winning ways as quickly as possible, according to De Bruyne, 33.
I’d say it’s been a little chaotic. He remarked, “I’ve seen a lot of people in the medical field, sports science, and (you wonder) who’s playing or not playing.” “Despite their injuries, some players played when they shouldn’t have.
