Chinagorom Lucy a young lady was murdered at her house in Asaba, Delta State.
When Chinagorom’s calls went unanswered on January 5, a coworker rushed to her home to see how she was doing.
When the knocks on her door were not answered, the coworker peeped through the window and discovered Chinagorom’s decomposing body.

Chinagorom, who attended and worked in Asaba, is a graduate of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike.
“They managed to get through the ceiling, raped and killed her in cold blood, and took away her belongings,” said her friend Amarachi Cynthia Ibezim.
After she missed five days of work, her office dispatched several of her coworkers to her home, where they discovered her lifeless corpse through the window. She was employed by one of the hotels near the airport.

As soon as the police were called, they broke into the residence and saw a horrific scene. The victim’s finger had been severed, and blood was all over the room. Another horrifying detail was that her hair was ripped off her head and was all over the floor.
Her death was preceded by a struggle and evidence of torture, according to activist Harrison Gwamnishu, who was one of the first to report the tragedy. “This was a vicious murder,” Gwamnishu said, highlighting the act’s brutality
