Bayern Munich dominated Hoffenheim with a 4-0 victory in the Bundesliga finale on Saturday, as Harry Kane, who broke records, was named the league’s top scorer for the second consecutive season. Bayern secured the title two weeks ago but aimed to finish their championship season on a high note.
Michael Olise scored a powerful free kick in the 33rd minute to give them the lead. He later assisted Joshua Kimmich, who scored their second goal just eight minutes into the second half. Although Kane started on the bench, he hit the post in the second half and then assisted Serge Gnabry for Bayern’s third goal.
The England captain, who won the first major title of his career with the Bundesliga trophy this season, scored in the 86th minute, tapping it in from close range for his 26th league goal of the season. He made history as the first player in Bundesliga to be the top scorer in his first two seasons.
