Ekiti Polytechnic gets new registrar

The newly appointed Registrar of Ekiti State Polytechnic, Isan-Ekiti, Mrs. Abimbola Adewumi officially commenced her duties on Tuesday.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Adewumi was appointed on January 23 as the second substantive registrar of the institution.

She possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Education with a specialization in English from Lagos State University (LASU) and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti. In her inaugural speech, she expressed profound gratitude for the opportunity to serve as registrar, characterizing her appointment as a significant call to service.

She assured the polytechnic community of her steadfast commitment to excellence and vowed to fulfill her responsibilities diligently. “I will strive tirelessly to meet the expectations of both the polytechnic and the state government. This role represents a call to service, and I commit to executing my duties with integrity. “I urge all staff members to extend their unwavering support, loyalty, and dedication to service, accompanied by the right attitude and discipline,” she stated. Earlier, the Rector of the institution, Dr. Sunday Ajeigbe, congratulated the new registrar and encouraged her to make meaningful contributions to the institution’s development. He gave her the assurance that the management would assist her in accomplishing the institution’s developmental goals and underlined the value of strategic leadership and teamwork in advancing the polytechnic’s mission.
