Lamine Yamal has officially completed his amazing new contract with Barcelona.

The young star signed the deal in Catalonia on Tuesday night, put pen to paper for a new six-year deal that runs until the summer of 2031. This deal was finalized by agent Jorge Mendes along with club president Joan Laporta on Monday.

The contract is said to include an astonishing release clause of €1 billion, mirroring the conditions of his previous agreement signed in 2023, after he made his first-team debut at the young age of 15, and was set to expire 2026.
Yamal is thought to have received a significant salary boost, along with various financial incentives, including a notable bonus should he win the prestigious Ballon d’Or award, according to sources.
At present, Yamal is considered one of the leading candidates for football’s most esteemed individual honor in 2025, alongside teammates such as Raphinha, former Barca star Ousmane Dembele, Liverpool’s stalwart Mohamed Salah, and Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez.
Securing his long-term future marks a strategic victory for Barcelona, who were eager to mitigate any risk of losing a generational talent that has already established a strong reputation as one of the world’s top players at just 17 years old.

He has netted 18 goals and provided 25 assists in 55 appearances across all competitions, helping Hansi Flick’s team to reclaim the La Liga title from fierce rivals Real Madrid, Also securing both the Copa del Rey , Spanish Super Cup, achieving a domestic treble, and reaching the Champions League semi-finals.
