A Member of the House of Representatives, Abdulmalik Zubairu (APC–Zamfara), has allocated ₦15.2 million in scholarships to 508 students at Abdu Gusau Polytechnic in Talata Mafara, Zamfara.

During the presentation held on Saturday at his constituency office in Bungudu, Zubairu expressed that this initiative is part of his commitment to enhancing education, especially for students hailing from underprivileged backgrounds.

He was represented by Mallam Muhammad Adamu, the Chairman of his Scholarship Committee.

Zubairu stated that this gesture aims to assist students in completing their education and making tangible contributions to the progress of both the state and the nation.

“The 508 recipients are residents of Bungudu and Maru Local Government Areas, currently enrolled in various programs at Abdu Gusau Polytechnic in Talata Mafara Local Government Area.

“Each recipient has been awarded N30,000 as a scholarship grant.

“This initiative is designed to support students from less privileged families who are struggling to afford their school fees,” he said.
