The Nigerian Gas Association (NGA) is super excited to announce that Nigeria will be the main focus at the World Gas Conference (WGC) 2025! A team of important leaders from the government and the energy sector will represent Nigeria.
the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), H.E., Rt. Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo, PhD, will be in charge of this special Nigerian group at the big event, which brings together top gas experts and decision-makers worldwide.
He will also be elaborating on and disseminating critical concepts to the leaders involved in global energy management. Joining him are other well-known figures like Engr Farouk Ahmed, the Chief Executive of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA); Mr. Bayo Ojulari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Ltd; Engr Felix Ogbe, the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB); Ed Ubong, the Coordinating Director of the Decade of Gas (DoG); and Mr. Akachukwu Nwokedi, the NGA President, along with many other important leaders and experts from Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.

The gathering of key stakeholders from the global gas industry is scheduled to take place at the Nigerian Pavilion during the upcoming energy conference. This distinguished venue will prominently feature the Nigerian Gas Association (NGA) alongside the Decade of Gas Secretariat, both of which play crucial roles in promoting Nigeria’s abundant gas resources. Attendees can expect in-depth discussions on the country’s vast natural gas reserves, estimated to exceed 200 trillion cubic feet, and the strategic importance of these resources in both regional and international markets.
