Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta is dealing with the heartbreaking loss of his godson.

The 54-year-old movie star shared this sad news on Saturday through a post on his Instagram, but he didn’t give any details about what caused the death. Online movie streaming services

In his post, he added a photo of the young boy and expressed his sadness with the words, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. Ya Allah, You are the Knower of all things. Rest on, Dear son, champ.”

This announcement brought a lot of condolence messages from both his colleagues and fans who showed their support.

This tragic news comes just days after veteran actress Peju Ogunmola grieved the loss of her only son, Ayomikun, who passed away in Ibadan earlier this week.

The Nollywood community is now in mourning, with many seeing these losses as a major tragedy.

In June, Chatta had talked about the painful memory of losing his first child, a daughter, many years ago. He said her death was due to poverty and not having access to medical care.

He stated that he couldn’t afford a coffin back then and had to bury her in an old Coca-Cola wooden crate.
