Lagos State University (LASU) Overall Best Graduating Student for the 2023/2024 academic session, Miss Isioma Sybil Nwosu of the Department of Biochemistry, gets N10million gift from Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Governor Sanwo-Olu, represented by his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, made the announcement during the 28th Convocation Ceremony of Lagos State University (Award of Doctorate Degrees and Conferment of Honorary Doctorate Degrees) at the Buba Marwa Auditorium, LASU, Ojo, Lagos.

Governor Sanwo-Olu, through Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, called on Nigerian leaders and educators to focus on education and find innovative ways to tackle real-world issues. He highlighted the importance of academic excellence and urged everyone to appreciate education as much as they do sports and entertainment.

The Governor committed to ongoing support for higher education institutions in Lagos State, aiming to nurture students into creative thinkers and future leaders.
