Group hails Tinubu administration for dualisation of Benin-Ajaokuta Road

The Tinubu Media Volunteers (TMV) praised President Bola Tinubu’s government for starting the dualisation of sections two to four of the Ekpoma-Auchi-Okpella-Okene-Ajaokuta Expressway. Mr. Chukwudi Enekwechi, the group’s Chairman, mentioned in a statement on Tuesday that this development has given hope to drivers using the road that connects Edo and Kogi states.

He highlighted that during the project launch, Minister of Works, Sen. David Umahi, representing President Tinubu, noted that the road construction supports the administration’s goal of making roads across the nation more usable. The group pointed out that this project shows the government’s commitment to enhancing national infrastructure for the benefit of all Nigerians.

They believe that with the start of the dualisation, drivers heading to the western, eastern, and northern regions will find significant relief. Additionally, the project will stimulate economic activities for people living in Kogi and Edo along the route. The group also reminded everyone that previous governments had neglected this project despite receiving substantial funding. They commended the Works Minister for realizing President Tinubu’s vision through developing essential road infrastructure. For years, this road was overlooked, causing frustration for users. However, the Tinubu administration is now changing that narrative by focusing on creating a lasting legacy of quality roads. TMV encouraged Nigerians to keep supporting the Tinubu administration in its mission to improve the country’s road infrastructure.
